New Zealand: the 31 best pictures
By Dave • November 12th, 2008And that was just about it. New Zealand, if you haven’t already gotten the jist, is an incredible place, and if you get the chance to go you really, really should.
But if you don’t get the chance, here are thirty-odd of the best pictures from our three and a half weeks there.

Dave has a broken 17-85mm IS Canon lens. For the interested, this cost me the better part of five hundred dollars less than a year ago, and now it’s jammed and produces an ERR 99 error in my 350D. If you’ve got the money, buy a slower L-series lens. You don’t get stabilisation, but build quality, I’m starting to think, is everything.
In other, happier news, this is SFTGE’s hundredth post. Thanks for reading, everyone.

Yay! Congrats!
Man, those are some great photos.
Thanks friend. You wouldn’t believe the pile of outtakes, near-misses and fuckups.
Comprehensive! Awesome blog.
We’ve passed that rabbit shearing place so many times but never gone in….appalling but intriguing.
Appalling but awesome, you mean. It’s a rabbit being shaved, for God’s sake.
Just one of the many reasons we liked New Zealand.
I think I’m a bit embarrassed about the rabbit shaving.
Embarrassed? That’s ridiculous.
You get to see a RABBIT being SHAVED. Frankly it was a massive highlight for both of us.
