There’s only 48. The first and second thumbnail both bring up Lada, St. Petersburg.
The photos are all quite something.
Yes, the first Lada pic appears to have been eaten by the internet. I wonder where it’s gone?
Nice work DS! There’s lots of great photos here and I enjoyed the slide show immensely… but why only 49? 49 makes it sound like you were stretching to get there and this is everything that’s worth seeing from the whole lot. 50 sounds more like a highlight reel, like there’s hundreds more great pics we haven’t seen yet in that massive collection.
And don’t pretend you don’t have other great pics, the two people on the moped on the orange road (Ban Lung link pic) is amazing and for sure should be on the list.
A wise man once told me that jarring numbers are the way to get an audience’s attention. So a round number like “50″ doesn’t pack as much punch. In this case I’m already wishing I’d gone for “36″, though.
Also I’m getting a bit worried about site traffic, which has doubled in the last month, which is the amount of time I’ve been hosting my own images and uploading a tiny bit of video..
Given that video is going to be one of the major additions to this site once we hit Hawaii (I’ve been inspired by you, Megamarters, this is a worry.
Lucky I found the video camera then if video is going to be a major addition (And remembered to bring it all the way to Hawaii with me).
Lucky indeed. You’ve made a great contribution to art.
Or the number of silly videos posted onto the internet. One of the two.
Cracking photos mate. Absolutelty stunning. You want to give up on the words lark, and stick to the pictures.
You can’t tell, but I’m blushing all the way from Sydney.
WOW!
Crazy pictures. You guys should make a book.
